Swift interviews with BBC Radio Manchester
August 2009
Cath's wish came true when she was invited back to the breakfast show - this time to chat with Alan Beswick on how Swift Garden Rooms were continuing to maintain great business. As more and more people are being asked to work from home, Alan agreed that a garden office was a fantastic solution to keeping a dedicated work environment away from domestic distractions as well as reducing the carbon footprint with no fuel consumption. Alan was also intersted to hear how people were using garden rooms to give them much needed space which solved their problem of trying to sell their house in the present property market conditions. Cath really enjoyed meeting Alan and said he made her feel very welcome!
April 2009
Cath was invited onto BBC Radio Manchester morning breakfast show in their "Business Boast" feature. She was asked to comment on how Swift Garden Rooms are creating a successful business during the recession. Cath says it was a brillliant experience entering the world of radio and walking through the long corridors of the BBC building on Oxford Road. Entering the studio to sit with Eamonn O'Neal and Diane Oxbury was a cheerful start to the morning, where smiles and jollity were the order of the day. Now Cath has had a taste of this, she would love to be invited back for more!
