Q: Do I need planning permission?

Q: Will my Swift Garden Room have to pass any building regulations?
A: Most of our garden rooms and garden studios are exempt from the majority of building regulations. We are able to upgrade and modify our Garden Rooms to meet all applicable building regulations where required.
Q: What if I have limited access to my garden?
A: Your Swift Garden Room or Garden Studio arrives on day one of construction and is flat packed in prefabricated modular panels. In most situations these can be carried through the house to be installed in the garden. Our free site survey clarifies how we overcome any individual challenges regarding access
Q: Who will construct my garden room?
A: Our fully trained, professional and customer focused team will carry out the complete build with the minimum of disruption and with due care and attention. When the building is completed, your garden room is cleaned, the area tidied and you take possession of the keys and your new Swift Garden Room
Q: How do I access internet and telephone services?
A: Whenever possible, keep things simple and efficient by using a wireless router and a dual cordless dect phone. Alternatively we provide a full service to manage the provision of telephone and network cabling, subject to a full site survey.
Q: What is included in the price?
A: Swift Garden Rooms’ quoted prices INCLUDE VAT and the cost of installing foundations (subject to site survey). An additional cost for the power supply (from the house) is done by separate quotation, or you can contract your own electrician to make the connection. Your final price includes any agreed optional extras such as blinds, decking etc. and is the price you pay for your finished garden room. There are no hidden costs.
Q: What kind of return can I expect on my investment?
A: Generally Swift Garden Rooms or garden studios cost less than moving house and adds significant value to your home as well. Typically you can expect to recuperate 75% of your costs on the value of your home, and in some locations where property prices are at a premium, your ROI could be 100% or more.
Q: What warranty do I get with my garden room?

Q: How long does the process take?
A: Typically, lead time is 4 to 8 weeks with a completed build time generally 1 to 2 weeks.
